We help men find the courage to connect deeply with God, themselves, and others through honesty and vulnerability.
Welcome to Three Percent. This is your space if you’re on a journey of:
Pursuing holistic masculinity
Growing your emotional awareness
Cultivating deeper relationships and an authentic faith.
We’re here to provide evidence-based guidance and proven strategies drawn from our experiences as therapists, friends, and mentors.
We've worked with men for thousands of hours who are seeking to improve their lives and now we’re building a supportive community dedicated to your growth.
We aren’t here to give you gimmicks or superficial “hacks.” We’re not telling you who to be, we’re helping you uncover what gets in the way of being the man you want to be and offer you the authentic tools needed for tangible growth.
Before we talk about how Three Percent can help you, let’s address something.
The Problem:
Let's be honest— as men, we can often struggle with loneliness, shame, dishonesty, addiction, disconnection, or a vague sense of unfulfillment.
We want real connection in the relationships that matter most.
But sometimes, we don’t know how to get there, or we’re too afraid to try. Our stories tell us that type of connection is too dangerous or not possible for us.
The name Three Percent comes from this armchair theory we developed:
We believe that, at our best, people are 97% honest with themselves and others.
And it’s the 3% —our hidden emotions, desires, wounds, needs and behaviors— we keep to ourselves that bind us to shame and loneliness, causing many of our struggles.
We want to change that narrative.
The purpose of this community:
To help you
Foster more authentic relationships with yourself, others, and God.
Become more emotionally aware, leading to a stronger sense of connection.
Let go of unwanted behaviors and quiet that loud inner critic.
Cultivate a supportive community of authenticity and accountability.
Experience personal growth and fulfillment. Become less alone.

Anything we share (newsletters, guided reflections, etc.) will be chosen to help you lead with vulnerability and engage more fully in your relationships.
So, why trust us?
Lol no, but for real… what qualifies us to guide you on this journey?
We’re Jamie and Blake. Long before we both became therapists, our paths crossed in a church basement at a 12-step recovery meeting—a place we sought out when our struggles with vulnerability and emotional awareness became overwhelming and problematic.
We've tried to walk the talk, and strive to be honest when we miss the mark.
Over the last 7+ years of friendship, personal therapy, recovery, wrestling with God, and counseling hundreds of men in our practices, the 3% concept has become a way of life for us.
It's helped us grow into better friends, husbands, and fathers.
We've seen it help others so much that we’re launching a whole company around it.
To help men:
Build a life that reflects their true selves and values.
Connect with others on the same journey.
Deepen their relationship with God.
Transform their mental health journey into a sustainable, fulfilling lifestyle.
This newsletter and podcast are the first offerings we’re putting into the world.
All this intention for a podcast? Yeah… that’s how much we believe in the power of having safe spaces for honest conversations.
We’ve got big dreams though. Eventually, we’ll have groups, in-person retreats, workshops, and other offerings. Essentially, if you’re reading this now, you’re a founding member. You get to help us build this thing.

Be sure to subscribe to never miss an update—every new post is sent directly to your email inbox. For a spam-free, ad-free reading experience, plus audio and some really neat community features, get the Substack app. It’s pretty much replaced IG and other social medias for me because it focuses on curated, long-form content. No ads or doom scrolling that zaps your energy and creativity.

We also have merch! 🧢 We’ve got a few of these sick hats left (message us if you want one) and we have plans to do a second run, add more styles, and even some shirts and hoodies. Stay tuned!
Love this!! I’m sharing with my husband now!!
If you ever decide to explore how men (and women) cope with losing it all in a wildfire (as in the recent fires in California) I'd be happy to provide some insights. My brother and I both lost our homes in a Colorado wildfire a decade ago.
